Eky Darmayanti was born in Samarinda on January 28, 1970. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Agronomy/Agricultural Cultivation at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta in 1994, and later obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration (specializing in Administration and Public Service Policy) from the University of Indonesia in 2005.

Throughout his career in public service, Eky Darmayanti has undergone various education and training programs, including Computer and Presentation (PowerPoint) Training in 2001, Basic Japanese Language Training in 2002, Senior Leadership Training (Adum/Diklat Pimpinan Tingkat IV) in 2010, and Administrator Leadership Training in 2020.

In his dedication to the nation, Eky Darmayanti has held numerous roles, including positions such as Staff at the West Jakarta City Agriculture Office (1998), Staff at the Jakarta Provincial Agriculture Office (2000), Staff at the Jakarta Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Office (2002), and Head of the Marine Empowerment and Agriculture Subdivision at Bapeda (2005). His roles progressed to include positions such as Head of Health Section at Bappeko Adm South Jakarta (2008), Head of Economy Subdivision at Kanppeko South Jakarta (2008), and Head of Economy Subdivision at Kanppekab Thousand Islands (2009). He further served as Head of Financing Subdivision at Bappeda (2011), Head of Regional Tax Planning Section at DPP (2013), and held various roles in planning, budgeting, and tax administration units across different districts in Jakarta.

Currently, since January 2021, Eky Darmayanti has been serving as the Head of the Annual Development Planning Division.
