Born in Jakarta on December 28, 1967, Dewi Satiasari completed her undergraduate education in Dentistry in 1992 and her Master's degree in Public Health in 2010, both at the University of Indonesia. She has participated in various educational and training programs, including ADUM/DIKLATPIM Level IV in 2007 and SPAMA/DIKLATPIM Level III in 2016.
Throughout her career, Dewi has served the country in numerous capacities. She started as a Health Officer with the title of Young Dentist in 1995. She then became a Civil Servant at the Central Ministry of Health at PKM Kecamatan Ciracas, East Jakarta, serving as an Intermediate Dentist in 1996. By 2001, she was a Civil Servant with the Jakarta Provincial Government, working as a Dentist at PKM Kecamatan Ciracas, East Jakarta. Her roles expanded over the years, including Head of the Puskesmas Section at the Health Department in 2005, Head of Basic and Community Health Services Section in 2009, Head of Family Health Services Section in 2011, and Head of Health Services Section at the Health Department of East Jakarta Administrative City in 2012.
She continued to climb the ranks, becoming the Head of the Health Department of West Jakarta Administrative City in 2014, Head of the Planning and Financing Division at the Health Department in 2017, and Head of the Planning, Control, and Information Division at the Health Department in 2020. Currently, since March 2021, Dewi Satiasari has been serving as the Head of the Social Welfare Division at the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of the Jakarta Provincial Government.
