Annisa Kusuma Negara is a highly accomplished professional with a strong foundation in sustainable development, economic analysis, and research. She holds a Master’s degree in Planning and Development Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Indonesia, where she honed her skills in critical thinking and strategic planning. Annisa’s passion for sustainable development is evident in her current role as the Environmental Development Pillar Manager at the SDGs Secretariat of the Jakarta Government. Here, she plays a pivotal role in leading environmental initiatives that align with Jakarta’s Sustainable Development Goals, demonstrating her commitment to fostering a greener and more sustainable urban environment.
In addition to her work with the Jakarta Government, Annisa has made significant contributions to economic research through her position as an Associate Researcher at INDEF (Institute for Development of Economics and Finance). Over the past four years, she has been involved in various projects at the Center of Innovation and Digital Economy, where her analytical skills have been crucial in shaping research outcomes. Her experience as a Research Assistant at INDEF has equipped her with a deep understanding of Indonesia’s economic landscape, allowing her to contribute meaningfully to discussions on policy development and economic innovation.
Annisa’s career is further distinguished by her experience in the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, where she served as an Economic Analyst. In this role, she provided valuable insights into economic policies, contributing to the country’s economic planning and development. Her leadership abilities were also evident during her tenure as Vice President Education at the Jakarta Toastmasters Club, where she was responsible for enhancing the communication and leadership skills of club members. This experience, coupled with her research volunteer work at the Sandya Institute, underscores her dedication to both personal and professional growth.
Annisa’s achievements have not gone unnoticed. She has been recognized as a delegate in international cultural exchange programs and has received accolades such as the Most Outstanding Student Award (Mahasiswa Berprestasi). Her participation in both online and offline training programs on sustainable urban mobility highlights her ongoing commitment to professional development. Fluent in English and Indonesian, Annisa continues to be a strong advocate for sustainable development, and her work is instrumental in shaping the future of Jakarta’s environmental and economic policies.
